Has Edwin Valero been dropped as a Pro

Yes he was knocked down against Mosquera in 2006. Don't know if he was really hurt or not as I did not see the fight. Would like to know though.

 

He was certainly hurt against Mosquera. Made a great recovery though.

 

I must have a gawk at that if I can find it. Say what you want about Valero, the guy has tremendous heart. I can see him coming through some gruesome battles in the future.

if you look on boxrec, it tells you who went down and in what round, from what i can see, mosquera is the only time he has been down

im not surprised he recovered well he was given about 25 seconds by the ref

 

He was down once against Mosquera, and he didn't even go all the way down. Valero fell into the ropes. He got countered, and was not close to being hurt. It was a flash knockdown!
