Has either Garcia or Matthysse been tested to the body?

Garcia has a big upper-body like a block, whether that means he can take body punishment i don't know.
Matthysse has more weight in his quads than Garcia in my opinion, so his upper-body isn't all that thick. His Argentinian brethren Maidana has been found to not take body shots as well as he can dish them out.

What do you all think here? Why hasn't there been more discussion on the body shots in this fight? Who throws them better? Will it be a main factor in who is the winner? I think we may find out if one of them doesn't get knocked out early.

Lucas gets them in hard and a lot more. He makes the angles for it the second you plant your feet. Garcia gets them in much less but they were hard as hell. I remember Khan taking two.

Garcia is like a rotating puncher on his core. He has to be planted to throw them. In the Khan fight, I barely so any body bunches from Danny. Most of his counters were right hands on Khan reaching in. He threw a lot more against Theophane and Morales

I agree that Matthysse has been superior in his body punching, his straight right and left hook to the body is killer.

but actually I'm not even sure about Matthysse having bigger quads. how the hell does Danny make weight lol

Both like to go downstairs. Unsure how either will take the body punchers.

I suspect Garcia would be more effected late in the fight, due to his size.

I seem to remember Morales getting in some digs with those lead right hands to the body he loves to throw. Danny never seemed visibly affected, but maybe the shots were a factor in his surprising caution in facing a bloated, burnt out old man.
