Just read that Big Mac will return to the ring on June 28th, opponent and venue to be announced. What calibre of opponent should Macca face for his comeback? Can he be a major force at CW after his devastating defeat at the hands of David Haye?
No doubt Warren will have ten bums lined up for him, then when he next fights a decent fighter he'll get Ko'd again. Personally I'd like to see him fight Herbie Hide. Aint gonna happen though.
I hope not. He should be in his prime now despite his defeat last time out. Shouldn't waste it on the Bobby Gunn's of the boxing world.
I think he will bounce back. If i was Enzo i would have a decent 'comeback' fight and then see if i could force Mormeck or Cunningham into the ring. Lets face it Enzo is and will still be top5 in the division, he may never rule the division, but he will always be near the top.
He will bounce back, he was fighting a Heavyweight In there and It's not like he took sustained punishment over 12 rounds.
I would agree with this.:good With Haye moving up there are gonna be alot of belts up for grabs. Mac should be in the mix. Of course, Mac is the only one who can speak for his own mental situation following the Haye KO; shouldn't make a difference, but we all know that it sometimes does.
It might. It couldn't really have gone any worse, the sprint entrance, the frightened way he fought and the chicken dance. But he was at the Rees fight soon after, being interviewed and he sounded positive.
It doesn't matter what calibre of opponent he faces, I'm sure there will be a vacant WBO or WBU title on the line!
Well we all know now that Haye wasnt "killing" himself to make the weight and he has been able to make the weight for some time, so Enzo was at a natural disadvantage against a heavyweight who boils down. Slightly off topic if Haye and Adam Booth say that Haye has never been struggling at the weight what about Hayes durability?
Hopefully he'll bounce back from his defeat. A fight with the winner of Ding-Arslan would be a fantastic fight for him.
