An over the hill De La hoya lost to Floyd only by a few rounds

And this was against an absolute prime Floyd (physically)

Just something to bear in mind :)

It's WAY more alarming that Marcos Maidana almost beat him :rofl Fight was so close Floyd had to rematch him!

And for the record....Keith Thurman beat the sh;t out of Robert Guerrero. He showed everyone how a world class fighter should handle him. Floyd beat him clearly....but it wasn't anywhere near as impressive as what Thurman did to him.

Oh yeah? Somebody almost beat Mayweather once and everyone should be talking about it more? Yeah? Well, how about that several people have beaten Pacquiao. Should we be talking about that more? Oh, no?!?

Good lord, how different history would be with how hated Ray Robinson would have been had he fought with the internet alive...

Actually it's the exact opposite of what you are saying.

But yes, UFC fans probably would agree with you.

Thurman would have beaten a lot of the guys Whitaker fought 'more impressively'. Is he better than Sweat Pea?

He lost 3 rounds in reality, maybe 4. He didn't 'nearly lose'.

Castillo maybe, Maidana absolutely not if you know how to score boxing matches. 116-111 correct score.

Castillo fight I had a draw but could definitely see it for Castillo easier than I could for Floyd.
