Floyd is one who likes to play mental warfare with his opponents prior to the fight. He likes to throw verbal jabs and get under their skin in an attempt to throw them off mentally. Yet I havent seen him try and do this with Victor. Floyd has actually been unusually quiet. If anything, it seems as if Victor has the mental edge coming into this fight. He's already stated that he has zero respect for Floyd and that he is going to destroy him. Victor seems to be focused and in top shape while Floyd is looking unusually frail and aged.

Did you miss the the first two episodes of 24-7? Floyd's been going all out recently, to both Ortiz and his mentor, Oscar.

But yes, he probably hasn't been getting into Ortiz' head like he would have hoped. Probably because talking to Ortiz is like literally talking to a tree, bro.

Ortiz does not seem to be the smartest tool in the shed. Which might actually be good for him.

anyone know what happened at the press conferences?? Was there any signs Ortiz was agitated with PBF.

Actually he was going in more at Oscar and HBO than Ortiz. Floyd usually gets personal/down and dirty with the insults. Aside from Floyd saying he wants to "Throw Ortiz in his dungeon butt naked", he's been fairly quiet with the insults! :rofl:lol:

That's true. Ortiz seems to be in his own little word. Unlike JMM and Mosley when they fought Mayweather, Ortiz doesn't seem to have any respect for him. A little bit of naivety can be a good thing, to an extent.

Nah, man. He's getting annoyed by Ortiz now. He said he's sick and tired of hearing about his struggles, etc. In episode two, he even referred to his beatdown against Maidana..... "Oh mo'****er you was there alright. There on the canvas"
