Maybe it's not high on you're list but it WAS FIRST on the list:good

Fight the best opp and there wouldnt be need for all this:happy

Also, it would have helped SOLIDFY Floyds claim at 35.

Beating Champions is what matters. Apparently, the sparring persuaded Floyd not to do so.

palease if you ever boxed or competed in any 1-1 combat sport at all you know full dame well that being out for 2 months will make you dull as well as lose any type of conditioning .. but in any case ..
Spad is not even a threat not then and not now , the boy drinks to dame much. and the only reason spad went to rehab was to keep from going to jail but again if he was more discipline that wouldn't be an issue.

in short Spad is as much of a head case as Zab with far less pop in his punch and hand speed.

Floyd would have nothing to fear from a soft punching alcoholic Spad .

Yeah, but you can't really read too much into that.

Styles make fights and perhaps Sosa's style was wrong for Spafadora. Come on man, you know things like this.

SWARMERS usually don't look good against SLUGGERS, but BOXERS do.

And BOXERS usually don't look good against SWARMERS, but SLUGGERS do.

thats true. but it could mean that a guy like sosa can compete with a guy like spadafora. you don' think that maybe spadafora isnt a whole lot better then sosa. spadafora drew dorin as well. you think he only drew with him because of how they match up? so its not the only time somebody held their own vs. spadafora. dosent mean he could automatcially lose to mayweather but mayweather already beaien better fighters.

Uh, yes Spat was threat and a Champ and the only time Floyd stepped in with him, he got beat on:good

BTW, I fought as an amatuer in 99 and I'm aware of what time off can do. But ask yoyrself 1 question, If you were so out of shape, why would you seek out a Champ a division above you who was a week and a half from a title defense to spar with??:huh Floyd's camp would have to have been dumber than dumb to allow a grossly out of shape Floyd to take such action:lol: We all know they arent that stupid, there's way too much family history and experience. The trutrh is, out of shape was more excuse than anything else but they had to say something:D

Whether or not Spadafora can overcome his problems remains to be seen. PLEASE DONT FORGET that Floyd is NO ANGEL either:good You dont know that much about Spadafora, the situation, or his personal life to make the assumptions you do. Yes, Spat used to drink between fights but was always right in camp and preperation. Many fighters do the same, they are HUMAN after all. Every man has to be responsible for himself and his actions but Ms. Russo caused more problems and issues for Spadafora than you could shake a stick at, including drugs which was something HE DIDNT HAVE ANY HISTORY with prior to her arrival.

Sosa caught him behind the ear with a looping shot as Spat slipped the rest of the combo. Spat got up and WON the fight.

Styles make fights but other than that round Spadafora handled a game and UNDEFEATED Soas at that time.

Dorin?? That performance was INDICATIVE of the behind the scene's ISSUES Spat was having!! No excuses, and I'd still like to see a rematch but Spadafora was NOT 100% right for that fight and not long after:gun it spilled out with Ms. Russo.

Floyd probably would of beat Spaddy convincingly but we'll never know.. because Spadafora is a ****ing nut job who shot his girlfriend and Floyd is probably done for good, and if he does come back, it's not for a fight with Spadafora, it'd be for an old Shane Mosley in a couple years.

Obviously, i have an inside perspective on Spadafora and whether anyone agree's about whether Spat could beat PBF or not is fine. But if there is 1 thing which is UNDENIABLE?? Ms. Russo has had a tremendously NEGATIVE impact on Spadafora. The cracks in the facade began to show in the Dorin fight.

As i said earlier, despit the fact that he moved to another city since his first release from jail and the judges order's for NO CONTACT, she moves to Erie and has YET AGAIN caused him problems and threatened to endanger and neglected his son. She also had and GAVE UP two other children before the age of 18 and is by NO MEANS a capable parent.

Hopefully?? The vioaltion hearing he await,s will factor the psychotic nature of this woman into account. It's a very tough situation with the child involved. In a perfect world?? The child should be removed from Russo's "care" and could live with Spadafora and his new wife to be and mother of his two daughters with strict NO CONTACT order which would PLACE BOTH IN JAIL for any contact. There's no telling if his new wife to be would be accepting of such arrangement but with a child caught up in an INSANE scenario it's a continual problem waiting to happen.

As long as Floyd has fans like you, he'll never have to face a challenge. :-(
