It's good for him but, not the sport or the fans. He's not fighting anyone of risk because he supposedly calls the shots. When the fab 4 was around they fought anybody and everybody. Dela Hoya, Mosley and even PAC takes more risks.

Wow what a bunch haters, especially ding dong. I don't particularly care for Floyd, but as a boxing fan, I can recognize the positive changes he has contributed to the sport. This one is for the *******s, what is Pac's contribution? Aside from showing other boxers how to be Arum b*tch, 101 excuses on how to avoid stricter testing, how to pretend being a man of God and humble to hide the fact that he is a scumbag. I really do not like *******s for their extreme fanboyism, going as far as comparing Pac to Jesus. For that I hope they go straight to hell. Boxing rules!

What floyd has done is made a lot of money for himself , and done it more or less his way the past 5 years or so ... which is good for him but not necessarily good for boxing. Fans just wanna see fighters fight the best, not who gets to make the most money, while taking the least amount of risks possible. On that note, he's not doing anything Roy Jones wasn't doing his entire career.

As far as drug testing goes, he introduced better drug testing, and he did it by using it as a crutch in negotations and accusing fighters of cheating. The result of that is hes put a bad stigma on boxing as everybody thinks everyone is cheating now, and fighters have another reason not to fight eachother. Either way drug testing is now a big issue, whether good or bad, but his intention was never to make the sport better, it was just something he did for himself.

Thing is, if he's changed the game, it's because it all started with his talent. Nobody else today is as talented a fighter, and don't have the luxury of doing what he did. So the same old game will go on, for most professionals.

You don't know who Oscar De La Hoya is, then. Or Prince Naseem, while we're at it.
