I don't need to believe anything. It's what happened. Everyone from the phillipines glued to the tv. Heck, even lady gaga watches boxing because of PAC. God bless you too.

And even with Oscar, he was a huge name (becuase of the wy he was marketed, ala The Golden Boy, Coming from LA etc...) whereas Floyd literaaly had to make his own name outside of the boxing purists becuase he was never as big sa Oscar from a marketing standpoint.

I don't think so? What has he really changed? Oscar really created the first really successful fighter owned promotional company, and before that Roy Jones was making all of his own decisions without the pull of another promoter. I doubt Roy was even the first to have that kind of power. Boxing doesn't look all that different to me.

Obviously he's a great fighter and had a great career, but the sport hasn't changed as a result. Maybe he gets credit for the drug testing, but we've yet to see if that really goes anywhere.

In the long run, Floyd's 24 7 and pioneering efforts for better testing will be the most used parts of his legacy. It's much easier to appear on 24 7 and/or request additional testing than it is to emulate Floyd's business sense and/or boxing skills.
