You guys must be really new to this sport .Fighters breaking away from promoters is nothing new ..Like stated before what Oscar never existed ? Floyd didn't invent the sport !

Welcome to the sports world of the last 20 years; many athletes are cheating. Saying Floyd added a bad stigma is like saying you shitting on my pile of **** made it smell worse. The promoters, judging and subsequent corrupt judging is far more a bad stigma for boxing and that's been around for decades.

Because, Pac's country stops to watch his fights does not mean Pac is fighting for them. :patsch

Pac fights for the same reason as every other fighter.... money. Respect is earned in the gym.

It never ceases to amaze me, how a person can post that someone is this or that having never met that Person:-(

    Yes.

I think Oscar came first though. Floyd just ran his mouth about it and he is where he is as far as the promoting.

Floyd also started the random blood and urnine testing.

He changed the game for sure.

  12. Yes, now we have fighters avoiding the best to keep their "0". Boxing pussified, thanks to Floyd.

Definitely! I think he improved on the mold DLH pioneered but has blazed trails with the attention he brought to the sport with regards to additional testing....even if that wasn't his true intentions....ay the end of the day it was good for boxing and Floyd was the man who set the stage for fighters to improve on what he started.
