We all know that Gatti, DLH, Hatton were the attractions, therefore good ticket sales, so my question is, does he {PBF} sell tickets? I don't recall any hype for his other "big" fights but I do recall people leaving before the end of some of his fights.

Once you've all established he doesn't sell out arenas on his own, what then? Where's the conversation going?

I don't see the point in these kinds of threads.

If HBO felt he didnt sell they wouldnt put him on PPV. I believe the Baldomir fight sold out and did 325k in ppv.

Zab Judah-Mayweather was not sold out at all. Plenty of walkup sales.

He sold out the MGM Grand (17k) VanAndel Arena (13k) Mandalay Bay and the Thomas and Mack center ... he's sold out arena's ... he's headlined venues for the longest ... he's a box off and PPV draw.

no fighter out right now has sold as many ppv units as him ... he did 350k with an unknown baldomir ... he did 1m with Hatton who never was on PPV before ... he did 2m with DLH when before he did 800k with Mayorga ...

I don't know what you guys are talking about ... his last 5 fights were sold out venues ... and the PPV numbers where good ... other than DLH ... he was doing good numbers with fighters who hadn't been on PPV before.

he's sold Hopkins, Mosley, Cotto, and Pacquiao all put together !!

Floyd defo can't sell the tickets his ego thinks it can alone... (Truth)

At the same time, I don't care if the arena is empty with only his 3 fans in attendance
as long as it's Vs. someone in his class, his range ect...

Of course not. Any fight of his that did sell out or will sell out clearly has very little to do with Floyd. I don't care if Hatton is not from the states and I don't care that none of his previous three fights( all of which were in the states) weren't even close to selling out. Hatton was clearly mostly responsible for that fight selling out in under an hour in Mayweather's hometown.

You dont believe that **** yourself, if he couldnt sell arenas out or sell PPV's then HBO would not deal with this man like they do. He did 300k plus with Carlos ****ing baldomir.

Just because of his attitude and his ego and all the **** people/fans hate him for is the main reason why he can sell tickets ... people want to tune it to see him _ see if he'll lose and get humbled or to see if he's worth all the talk.

If Floyd can't sell tickets then a possible fight with Pacquiao wouldn't be considered a fight that can break PPV records if not come close to it.
