like I said before ... DLH vs Mayorga 800k buys ... DLH vs Mayweather 2.1m buys ... Hatton vs Castillo O buys ... Mayweather vs Hatton 1m buys ... he's fighting guys that have never been on PPV and making them into marketable fighters ... and they're getting the biggest payday's of their careers. Thats what Mayweather does ... even DLH got the biggest Payday of his career fighting Mayweather. all of Mayweather's PPV fights sold out the arena !!
I'm just saying, Hatton fans follow him right into the states. In his country he is like Pac. I would be curious to know how much PPV was sold over there. Big fanbase equals big paydays for these guys. Hatton has earned much money for not being an elite fighter.
this is going to turn into a pissing match over who should get paid more on the split when he fights Pac.
Somebody is thinking like myself:good, this is why I ask.
true i agree with you, what i was saying is floyd added more than the usual cab driver because he was regarded as the best boxer in the world
I think Hatton-PBF did 1mil in UK. My only thing is oveer here in the states Hatton wasnt even selling out Arenas and wasnt on PPV. As soon as he fights Floyd he does 900k and 1mil in the UK when he wasnt even remotely close to those numbeers before. I argee with his fanbase but that fight still sells out even if the brits didnt come over here.
Question, was that not due to PBF wanting the fight since he was still at 130. To me, Oscar is going to get the biggest payday regardless at that time. Oscar is the PPV king still even retired. PBF can beat it if he stays active and does not retire again if he gets past Marquez and Pac. I hope that is not his agenda. My opinion only, but Oscar made PBF more marketable not the other way around.
Agreed. I'll be back in one hour if you posters are still on this. Getting out of work and live a damn hour away.
he cried because people don't appreciate his boxing, i'm not trying to justify anything. I'm telling the truth here, the point of boxing was to hit and not get hit and thats more of the purist point of view but casual fans love the war type fight more and the KOs just like how spinks doesn't have any fans but a few. Stop hating, because i don't hate in fact, all i speak out are some facts and opinion, being a keyboard warrior like yourself doesn't help. And what i was saying is that floyd adds more because hatton and hoya are not fighting the usual cab drivers
This why All of his fights (Floyd) sell. Half love half hate but everybody wants to see what happens so in a way he's (Floyd) the reason why you watch. It's not only that your favorite fighter is fighting -- but the fact is if whomever your favorite fighter is happens to "WIN" the gratification would be almost sexual!!
what i'm saying are the majority of the fans.. and really i've seen you hate on so many floyd fans before that there is no point at all in a debate. If the truth hurts you then just swallow it up, no point of hating back like a keyboard warrior
Somebody is thinking like myself:good, this is why I ask.
**** stirrer Personally I tink 50/50 would be good. Floyd has strong name recognition here in the states amongst those that don't know the sport, him fighting Pac, who has now gained some name recognition for the P4P crown will pull in PPV buys. I could see it 55/45 Pac, but no more.
It doesn't matter who you're fighting ... if you sell out an arena you sell out an arena ... you can't say Hatton or Pacquiao sold the house out last weekend ... because they both brought something to the table to add to the drama of the fight.
