Has Floyd JR fought even 20 opponents that would be classed above average?

Thanks for saving me the time :good

For all his undoubtedly awesome talent, Floyd is one of the most shameless cherry pickers in the history of the sport

Augustus was a fantastic fighter. You are too busy looking at his record, you should be looking at his fights. That man was robbed constantly, he was seen as being a "show boater" and that pissed a lot of judges off. He was a very talented fighter, but you would need to see him fight to know that.

Not as good as Matthew Hatton thus fails the test.

Do you honestly feel old Augustus as at the same level as Matthew Hatton? The renowned Matthew Hatton with his trademark body attack?

Augustus came to the UK and beat the **** out of a fighter that cut Ricky Hatton to pieces and gave hime a war.

So yes Augustus was , is and always better than brother Matthew.

You can fight the same opponent twice where they were "above average" the first time and not "above average" the second time.

So yes, listing him twice is correct.

The thread isn't "20 men" it's "20 opponents." Castillo was his opponent twice.

I dont think he is either under or overated I have always liked Matthew and has some solid skills.

You dont keep Canelo honest without them , but he has had his brothers protection in getting fights at the rigth time and also always having a full training camp.

Augustus on the other hand is a road warrior and takes fights at a weeks notice , when you fight like that you will lose a few stinkers.

mayweather has fought and defeated 22 reigning or former world champions in his 45 fights, if you subtract the 16 fights it took him to get his first title shot. that means that only 7 of his fights took place against non championship caliber fighters. end thread.
