Has Floyd Mayweather fought his last fight

I doubt we have seen the last of Floyd.

I don't think he will return for "boxing reasons" to achieve this or that, or beat this person or that person. I think he will return for the money, but not yet.

Unless Floyd has surrounded himself with really shrewd and smart advisors who have invested his money well, and Floyd himself has kept his spending in check (I doubt it, he seemed to make the point of frequently sayig how "lavish" his lifestyle was before the Oscar fight) then the money he has earned, won't last that long, because he was never the biggest box office draw, so when the numbers in his bank account get down to the low millions, then he wil be back for one or two last big paydays.

I think Mayweather would've been pissed by the Cotto Loss.

I think he would've liked to come back in 2009 (when Cottos profile would've been sky high) and do a number on him.

but as it stands the welterweight division is very confusing. Margo is considered the Man at the moment however has a loss to Williams.

If Floyd beats Margo then everyone will say well he has to prove himself against williams

If he opts to fight Williams first he will be considered to be ducking Margo.

The only way Floyd can get it right is (as other people have said in this thread) is just to sit and let the dust settle and eventually fight the established champ at welter.

One things for sure .....in a day and age where people are obsessed with undefeated fighters....that Cotto loss probably wrecked a whole lot of plans
