But they won't make him any money either. That watch will just sit there and gather dust. Now had he ploughed that money into property or businesses etc then he'd be constantly getting a return on his money, hence me saying that watches are a waste of money.

Depends on if Conor hasn't retired...

It's either hope that Conor stays in MMA, doesn't lose, maybe adds another title to his collection, then Floyd fights him over there. That or fight the winner of Canelo/GGG.

Nobody invest 100% of their earnings.. He have too much to be worried about penny pinching so much that he can't buy watches that won't decrease in value and maybe increase over a few years.. How is a waste of money if it's liquid assets?

Because those things don't earn you anything. If anything they will decrease in value.

Spend $10m's on watches and $10m's on property. Tell me which one your money is best spent on...

I get it. Watches are liquid. But to keep buying them and buying them, why not actually put that watch money in a bunch of accounts that not only earn you interest, but you can't touch for a certain amount of years? Surely that's better and safer than having a watch just sitting there?

Floyd in my opinion is shot. He looked like horse crap against Connor. He was off balance, falling in when he let loose with the right hand. He's legs are gone. He's lucky he fought a boxing bum, because if that was Canelo, Pac or any other top WW he would of lost. No need for him to come back unless he wants to go out like Roy Jones.

I feel like this time is for real.. Floyd's 40 now.. Coming back after this would be stupid.. Unless its against another aging fighter.. Who knows maybe well see MAY PAC 2 when they're both in their mid or late 40's

those cars and watches are all liquid assets. the man just made 300 mil is 50-0 doesn't drink or do drugs and continues to generate income through TMT and various other enterprises. i think he and his family will be just fine.

Why are you acting like he don't have enough to do both? Maybe he loves watches.. This guy is worth almost a billion and you think he'll go broke because he has 50million in watches that will definitely not decrease in value.. I'm sure he doesn't buy everyday watches, but rare ones that only 200 exist.. Maybe he wants to start a family heirloom.. I'm sure he spends his money on dumb things, but watches isn't what would break him...

I seriously hope there are no more idiot lemmings left willing to pay $99 to watch his awful fights.
