YES, he's never coming back no matter what circumstance. He's done after he pays off the IRS and his bookie and will settle in the Las Vegas sunset. Al Haymon will make sure of that!

Worth almost a billion? He's only done 1.3 billion in the amount of money he's generated from fighting! You think he's taking punches to the head whilst being close to having ONE BILLION around him? GTFO you fool!

No,I'm just stating that buying watches all the time is futile. Spending that money on property would be way more smarter. And that's what you and me were arguing over.

What kept him from ever facing Thurman when he was younger?

Not likely he'd have become a billionaire by being a brain surgeon, scientist or college professor-that's for sure.
    Ironic isn't it?

lol That's how much he earned boxing.. I'm sure he made more in investments and whatnot, but I'm not in his pockets like that..

I'm not really trying to argue though.. He has property, businesses, investments, and watches.. He can't have a watch budget because he likes watches? lol I'm trying to understand why people believe him buying watches is such a bad thing.. If you brought up him not wearing the same shoes more than once, or him not wearing the same boxers twice is a waste of money, I'd agree.. Watches, especially the type he buys, is no big deal at all.. There's always a market for them and apparently he likes them.. People act like rich people can't have nice things because they'll go broke because they wasting money.. Like we they financial advisor and know where else they have money invested...

Do you actually think that Mayweather portfolio is watches? Watches and automobiles are just the man's hobbies. He likes nice things and he's able to buy nice things. Don't hate. In reality the man has several businesses that are doing very well and a gang of properties,( not just houses ) He also owns land. Mayweather is no dam fool or dummy. He can maintain his lifestyle as long as he wants to.

    Lol @ don't hate.

Ok, apart from Floyd has mentioned (Girl Collection, Shots, Miami properties and the gyms he is up supposed to be rolling out) enlighten me on what they are... 50 cent spent a TON of time with Floyd and even he said he's got no investments.

Mayweather will have hundreds of millions invested in bonds and hedge funds. There is zero chance that he is the only person world with a huge fortune just sitting in a normal bank account, the money will be working for him and in America the economy is massively in favour of those with capital. The rich (including Floyd) get richer.

On the other hand if the chance comes up to fight Canelo for $150-$200m dollars next year does he take it? That's another fortune in itself. A ten year NFL career in one night. I don't think Mayweather or anyone else says no to that.

If Canelo beats GGG a rematch with Golovkin would be way bigger especially if there is a robbery or multiple knockdowns.

I really doubt it. The idea that Floyd doesn't have financial advisers makes no sense. An ordinary person who has ten grand sitting doing nothing in their account will start getting phone calls from their bank about how to increase their return.

Really rich people don't make their money through direct investments in things like record labels, clothing lines, strip clubs, apps or hotels. They give their money to hedge funds then sit back and soak up the profits. Floyd doesn't have to be smart enough to make the investments just smart enough to do the same thing the rest of the super rich who do zero work but get continually richer are doing.

You can have all the financial advice given to you by the best around, but if you think you know better or it doesn't feel right then you will stick to your guns. Who is to say Floyd hasn't done that?

He may have I don't know. But it's the financial equivalent of drinking bleach.

What we do know about Floyd is that he is disciplined in his training and diet and that he sticks to the agreed game plan in every fight. We also know that he has played the media, HBO, Showtime, Top Rank and Golden Boy perfectly over the years to amass a huge fortune. I'm assuming that he didn't do that off his own wits but took advice from many smart people.

What you see on social media is public relations. Mayweather builds interest in his fights by promoting the Money Team brand in the same way we see manufactured feuds between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry which maintains their media profile to sell records and tickets.

Thurman feels that he was relevant. Says he was Floyd's mandatory.
