Are you guys forgetting about him grinding down then a calculated teeing off on and KO'ing Hatton? Hatton Gatti Corrales Ndou Chavez Ortiz Corley Gerena Marquez Genaro
You have been on this forum for 7 years and you have no idea of Flloyd v Gatti lol = you know nothing about boxing LMAO!!
Honestly, prime floyd is the best fighter I've ever seen, he had it all, offesively and defensively. He doenst let go his right hand anymore, but oh! boy! back then, when he was at his prime, the way he destroyed his oponents, p4p top level oponents, was amazing. People's memory is quite weak, he was offensive AF at his prime.
Since he move up from 130 Floyd hardly whooped anyone physically with the exception of gatti, but gatti is also a former super feather weight. He did whooped a few psychologically in their fight in essence that they kinda feel outclassed. Outside of perhaps hatton, I can't think of fighters that Floyd completely ruined. Maybe because Floyd has been on top for a long time and always the fav coming in.
Loma said he is a defensive boxer. I tend to agree. I am not saying he didn't have the weapons on offense because he did. But his temperament was safety first and never traded with a boxer. Using footwork to be elusive. But he was never an aggressive boxer. I know he sure can whoop a weak boxer like Hugton, Corralles or Gatti all overrated in my opinion. But him against a strong boxer he runs a lot and hugs. I am never seen him give any tough boxers a hiding bust em up. Only weak ones like glass jaw corralles and hugton.
Mayweather showed his elite A+ level boxing skills and laid an absolutely savage beating on Shantel Jackson.
Agreed rewatched Hatton May on sky last night - only highlights - by the end Hattons head was snapped back and he just collapsed at the finish
Some female members of Hatton's family who were present became ill from watching the brutal finish to that fight.
