Lets face facts, there is no shame in saying it, Floyd mayweather is not the same fighter that stood in the pocket and slugged it out with Philip Ndou 31-1-0 with 30 KOs back in 2003. That fighter was pretty dam close to TBE. This guy is just a talented boxer whose still head and shoulders above the rest. As for Floyd Sr, I think Floyd is better since Floyd senior took over. His defense is certainly sharper.

For sho Maidana countered his pull-counter on almost put him to sleep. He has an iron chin though.

No not really it has been other factors such as age , having to fight twice a year and the type of fighters he is up against.

I still say Pacquiao hammers him , styles make fights.

i think it's more of age and the expected decline.

Don't get me wrong Floyd is still a great boxer. But even though he outclassed Maidana in that fight he got hit with some hard clean shots that he would've slipped 2-3 years ago. Now is it his pops being a worst trainer or age catching up with him. Prolly both of them.
