Yeah, me too. Thats the school I went to before getting out.(i lied and said 'if you send me i'll stay in.) It was me and another sub radioman and then 20 ITs It was J-NET core. Journeyman Networking. They have a great job for being in the navy. 80% of jobs are TERRIBLE. Especially on surface ships.
TRUE:good TO BE STRAIGHT UP IF HE DONT FIGHT MANNY OR SHANE THAN ID BE UPSET AND I WOULD BAN MYSELF FROM ESB..I'VE TALKED SO MUCH **** THAT I WOULD LOOK LIKE A FREAKIN IDIOT...THE GUYS WHO SAY FLOYD WONT SIGN SHOULD BAN THEMSELVES WHEN HE DO SIGN CUZ ITS GONNA MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE REAL IDIOTS TOO
Ahh the good old days. I remember teaching that course before switching over to teach network security.
Yeah, right before I got out they created a LAN division for submarines, and I think they were grooming me to be the LPO since they knew I wanted to do networking more than the exterior communications stuff.
I don't know what you do for a living now but don't dump all the ECS knowledge because it will help, particularly in the defense contracting industry. I just got promoted to a position that I wouldn't have if I didn't have the hands on experience with submarine communications.
That's impossible. I was port and stbd 12 on 12 off every underway I was ever on. I could walk back onto a submarine right now and load the entire room and align every antenna, or communicate on any circuit. I did it way too many times. I could probably give you the lat and long of Mil*6 satellite still.
Yeah, too big a crew and it's too formal, too small and the work load is insane. You want a nice sized crew where you don't have insane duty rotation. I was 4 section, sometimes 3 section my entire career, and that was brutal. If you can land 6-8 section duty, aim for it. I think destroyers are good for that stuff.
No. It means that you stay on board you ship or boat for a 24 hour period every third or fourth day. You stand guard and perform your normal duties as well.
Not sure if this has been posted, but ESPN is reporting that Mosley has signed and Floyd hasn't. Apprenly Schaefer is getting nervous and says the fight could be in jeopordy. Hopefully this gets done soon.
I agree with you. I'm all for great boxing so will see. Floyd is on the record saying the fight will happen so if he back out then he will definitely take a hit.
No problem. You're right about that. It's all based on the available qualified personnel. The more qualified personnel you have the more sections you can build. So that's why surface personnel have larger sections than submarines.
PBF will sign give the man a chance. Most of the time it takes some time for both fighters to sign it's routine in boxing.
