I would say Floyd has beaten the better caliber of fighters. Jones beat Hopkins, not at his best, Toney at his best, and one of the worst heavyweights. Floyds overall competition has been better in my opinion to Jones Jr. but Mayweather has some fights out there that should be taken to cement his legacy further. I think Cotto should face Margarito and then Mayweather should face the winner of that fight. I think if he beats the winner of that fight, he will have done all he could do to silence the critics. I know Williams is out there, but in my opinion, he didnt look that great against Margarito, and didnt show me much. Id match him with Cintron, and see who wins that one. Maybe make a big unfication tournament with those guys and the winner to face Floyd.

Hard to say but RJJ is more gifted than Floyd. RJJ dominated the division until there was nobody left. Floyd still has Williams, Marg and Cotto to go.

Hmmm yeah I hear but I think Zabs speed + skills are better than RJJs speed + skills if you know what I mean. Rjj was better than Zab though

Not sure that makes sense but I know what Im trying to say !

Has Floyd surpassed Roy Jones all-time? I'd say so, Roy's recent antics have made his stock drop in my eyes markedly.

the one thing that held jones back was his resume, he either didnt have the names in the division or he didnt fight the ones who were there.

Mayweather has plenty of names on the record, won multi weight title and HAS big names all around him!

Mayweather will go down as the greater even if he isnt already!

They would. His size taken into account, Jones is much faster than Mayweather. And **** the drugs. Those reflexes did not come from steroids, and he was very strong in his early years too, before he started doing roids.

Skillwise, PBF is better and has the better technique.

Speed, power, athetism, and ring excitement go to Roy by a LOOOOOOOONG shot. I don't ever recall roy having a dull fight, even when fighting some of the bums later in his career.

Floyd is only 30......do you guys remember when Roy was 30-31? ;)

Roy is still all time better IMO

I lean slightly to Floyd being the better all time great.
I think 1 more great win against a Cotto would definitely push him past Roy Jones.

No RJJ is a top 20 ATG and PBF is a top 30 ATG. IF PBF beats Cotto then maybe.
