that has to be a joke right. He fought the same man that KD Holyfield, a man who to believe had an iron chin. The WBA Heavyweight champ at the time. Please man, RJ must get credit 4 that win

Same thing I would like to kno. I dont kno how this man, with no "technical skill" accomplished so much. And the next thing I dont understand is when people say PBF is a boxer, RJ is an athlete that can box  lol. Wtf?
Kobe bryant is an athlete is well, lets give him some boxing gloves and I guarantee like Game and Kanye song " He Wouldnt Get Far":yep

I think they're about equally skilled. I would give the edge to PBF though, simply because of the records. Its ok that RJ lost.. but the thing is he got KTFO.. I think that takes a lot out of his greatness. Even Ali had losses, but never humiliated like that.

how could anyone rag on mayweathers resume and then praise rjj? mayweather is clearly past rjj. After become #1, rjj fought the harmons, kelly's and halls of the world. floyd after become #1 has won titles in 3 more weight classes, the undisputed welterweight championship, beaten an atg, and a top 10 p4p.

Someone said to match winning a heavyweight title, floyd would have to win a title at middleweight...what terrible logic. That was 5 weight classes about roy's weight, light middleweight is 5 weight classes above and floyd won a title there....and pound for pound ruiz is nowhere the fighter dlh is.

boxing is about accomplishments. And I think Floyd takes the cake on this one already, and he still has much more and much farther into the record books.

The only ATG PBF beat so far is Oscar by SD and he was past his prime already. Jones' victories over Hopkins and Toney eclipse anything Floyd has done to date and that is a fact. Despite what some people say RJJ never outright ducked anyone although we have it on record that people like Eubanks and Benn ducked RJJ by their own accounts. Who has ever feared or ducked Floyd? If Mayweather wants to be mentioned among the likes of Jones and Hopkins he better start clearing out that stacked welterweight division pronto.

Floyd isn't done yet and we already considering it, WHAT does that tell you. Roy had more weapons but Floyd. The fact that Floyd becomes greater the more his opponent pushes him is why he has a great chance to stay undefeated. He's not likely to get KO'd out of nowhere.

    Nice post simpleton.... :patsch

I guess you think all weight classes are spread equally?

    try this:

Jones started @ 154 I won a title almost 50 pounds up. Floyd won a title 24 pounds up.

Except a green Hopkins and Toney, I have never been impressed with RJJ achievements. When your the P4P number 1 fighter in the world I really don't think you should be fighting a part time policemn, he did fight quite alot of bums in the supposed 'prime' of his career.

PBF has fought and beat better fighters.
Also RJJ was a filthy drug cheat.

Yes, a ton of them, almost all top 10 ranked in his division, many ranked in the top 5, and 8 world champions at LHW alone. All bums.

    Jones is slightly ahead.

If Jones has retired after the Ruiz win, it wouldn't even be close. Shot or not, big losses like that have an impact on your legacy. (I'm not saying how it should be, just how it is)

It has an impact on your immediate legacy, but not 10 years from now it won't. Just like all other ATG's, later on, those losses will be ignored.

right now, Floyd is coming off his second best win of his career, while people's freshest memories of RJJ are 2 big ko losses.

Like u said with time those losses will be much less significant but i don't think they'll be comepletely ignored in the sense that people won't talk about the losses, but if they weren't there, people would talk about that.
