I don't think he does anymore; I think he lets people get away. I don't think Pac has the blood lust anymore, he doesn't want to finish people. Manny is no longer interested in the kill.

jso's logic is just as bad as that team in his avatar is going to be.

If winning doesn't excite you guess what you are chump?

Hell, this goes for just about everyone who posted in this thread.^^^

Since I changed my views on Floyd following the Hatton build up,I've always been glad for the opportunity just to see him in action(Marquez aside)
Won't be the same when he's not around boxing.

You realize that guys are approaching Pacquiao differently than they were before, right?

since Mayweather came back his fights have been much more exciting than pacs.... a combination of him slowing down and having to fight more and pac not being able to catch opponenets that move or cut off the ring.

I've always been more of a fan of Mayweather....I definately understood the attraction of Pacquiao though.....but his last fight with Bradley, Jmm & Shane really did suck...... Mayweather is more exciting in every area.

More exciting 24/7, more exciting weigh ins, more exciting fights, more exciting training sessions (that sparring session with Omar Henry was cool!)

Are you ****ing serious? I thought his fight with Marquez was pretty damn good the decision I didnt agree with but it was a good fight.

Yes Boring with Mosley because Mosley didnt want to engage, Bradley had two injured feet, I have no idea what Mannys excuse was for that performance or lack there of.

Floyds last two have been aight, well the Ortiz fight I dont give a damn what anybody says winning a fight like that, let me say, what Floyd did in that fight was a straight up ***** move, did Ortiz have it coming you damn right.

But to bait that kid in and crack him like that I have no respect for that type of win. The Cotto fight, good fight closer than what the scores reflect. Floyd to in that fight was given credit for shots that were clearly blocked as well.

Either way I dont give a damn how exciting 24/7 is I dont care how pumped the weigh ins are, all I give a damn about is what happens when that bell rings.

pretty sad when Floyd fans have to justify how exciting Floyd can be When Pac is clearly on the decline.

He makes the other fighters work and miss.

I thought Pac was lacklustre in the Marquez fight and got out boxed....and ended up winning the fight when he shouldn't.

He had every advantage over JMM, bringing him back up to 144 where they thought he wasn't comfortable and age etc etc and Pacquiao under performed....

I agree Mosely didnt want to exchange but thats part of what was so frustrating I was begging Pacquiao to cut the ring off and try and finish him but he seemed confused and just followed him around most of the time and then got confused by Shanes limited footwork.

Again Bradley I thought he won the fight but he showed a lack of killer instinct if he couldn't get Bradley (someone who is feather fisted) out of there with two bad feet then I dont know what can be expected if he were to fight someone with two good feet, better movement and an accurate puncher.....so again underwhelming performance for me.

Anyway these are my opinions you dont have to agree with them but if you are honest with your self you know Im being fair....

Pac put on a good offensive display in that bout. Problem is both men put on AMAZING defensive displays. Some might not think it was exciting, but the punches were flying and it wasn't for lack of offensive effort that punches didn't land. It was pretty action packed. I disagree that fights have to lack defense and we have to see a guy take punishment to make it a 'fan friendly' fight. Effort counts and that is why you see what you consider 'dodgy' decisions sometimes.

Only clueless people about the sport find him boring. I understand finding Hopkins & Wlad boring at times because of their low workrate lately but Floyd just dominates the fight without the timidness of Wlad or constant rule-bending or breaking of Hops. Great fighters all 3 but still.

Anyways, I've been saying for months now that Mayweather is the better "fighter".

    Fights in the pocket
Can outbox opponents(Well Pacq did to Bradley and possibly Barrera in rematch but Floyd has a much longer history)
    Can fight off the backfoot
    Can fight in clinches
Is the best at taking away his opponents best weapons
    Great jab
    Best footwork in the game
    Throws combinations with great balance
Best counterpuncher in the sport now
Can look very solid against any style

Probably more things but yes. Floyd is the most complete now though styles make fights of course.
