I don't think ANYONE is even saying that. HOwever, the State commisions thmeselves have said it's a cost thing to conduct the style of testing Joy boy wants for all fights.

Question A, what part of the testing process is so bad that we have a ton of boxers abusing the system and cheating it.

Question B, is that even the case? And please, don't just say something like "You can't be that naive..blah blah....outdated tests...." Looking for a real answer, not one provided out of assumption.

Question C, IF there are in fact fighters beating this badly dates testing system, who of recent? OK...we all know about Shane from what...a decade ago? Vargas, Toney and a few others who WERE Caught. But anyone of note?

    Thanks! :thumbsup

The commission also gives the fighters the freedom to negociate these terms. If the commission didn't want these testings then why allow fighters to negociate it and accept and implement these terms in the first place.

Why not eliminate the ability to negotiate anything but venue and purse split?

If it was necessary, they'd make it mandatory. They deemed it unnecessary and thus optional.

These guys didnt just get Harvard degrees for nothing, fellas.

Damn, this place is becoming littered with idiots. I'm gonna have to find a new site because this place is becoming full of delusional, overzealous Pac fans.

Well however you might feel about floyd/pac or drugstesting, it is currently being excuse to diminish performances and fighters reputation.
This gives boxing a very bad image, before you know it this sport will be known as cycling where every tour de france people get caught roiding and is now known as a junkie sport.
I really dislike the way this is going, now everytime a fighters manages to accomplish something great he must be on drugs.

I agree there. They allow TOO many things to be negotaited, and somewhat insisted by the party with the barganing power.

Why not ask for 1:30 rounds. Or an 8 round title fight. **** it! :D

I just want testing where the fighter does not know the dates they will be tested.

You answered everything in the first sentence. The commission is not going by health and safety they are going by what is cost effective.

By saying that you don't believe that ANYONE is saying that. I am to assume that you are saying that you have no problem with the testing OSDT testing procedure. Then by you also bringing to light that the commission ruled that it isn't cost effective which is thrown out the window for the Mayweather-Pac fight due to the amount of money to be made. There really should be a problem having OSDT done on both fighters. As there is no problem with the procedure to make it unfair for either fighter and they don't have to worry about it being cost effective.

To answer your question though. There is not enough testing of the highest calibre because its not cost effective. That is the problem IMO. Even if they are beatable it will still scare off many fighters from using for a while. The solution is to allow fighters to demand testing for there fights since the commission believes they can't afford to do it for every fight.
