Prime George not the comback George, even though comeback George did a few things better.

Marciano might have literally been killed.

I think this is one match where even the Marciano proponents are happy to pick against him.

I favor Foreman, but I also belive a good shot from Marciano could stagger Foreman if landed.

Marciano always had the power to get out of trouble if needed too.

Young Foreman would be better at everything that Marciano was best known for...strength and punching power..., plus he'd be be much, much, MUCH bigger. The only advantage Marciano would have is in the chin/conditioning department, but he'd have to take a hell of a beating to make full use of it. Foreman 8-9 times out of ten with Marciano obviously taking the remainder through sheer force of will where he gets beaten ******ed but wills himself to stay on his feet and finishes the deal late in the fight.

Here we go again... before long Marciano fans will come out in droves, and claim that he actually has a chance in this one!

A punchers chance, but thats about it imo.

A good shot from Marciano like he did vs Layne or Walcott might see him though. But thats it.

I like Foreman by early KO, but Foreman better watch the **** out. Marciano was a pitbull with tremendous power, enough to really hurt george, and Marciano has enough endurance to knock foreman the **** out cold if he takes him past round 5. I just don't think Rock will make it past round 5 because Foreman is too much of a beast in a early slug out. But if any slugger can go toe to toe and outlast big george...it's the rock. Rocky was stronger and a better two fisted puncher than frazier(imo). It takes the very best Foreman to do it, but he would. His hooks and uppercuts are deadly and a much smaller Rocky(even with his granite chin) won't be able to take them for too long. Foreman is just a little too strong and powerful for Rocky, but not by much. This is one fight where Marciano will find himself physically pushed away by foremans strength everytime Rocky works his way inside, where foreman will then tee off on him.

    Foreman TKO 3 Rocky Marciano

1990's foreman gets his ass handed to him by a Prime Rocky Marciano. It's not even up for debate. 1990's foreman does not beat any ATG prime heavyweights.

About Marciano's chances of winning, slim to none. Physical disadvantages aside, he'd have a hell of a time simply getting at Foreman. Not to mention George's bullying tactics, always shoving the opponent.
But I'll say this. If Charley Goldman can find a way around that, and if Rocky fine tunes his defensive abilities...basically, if Marciano can work on slipping Foreman's haymakers, and then go to work on George's ribs, arms, and whatever else, there's a chance he might wear him down.

    But that's a big if.

I find it really bizarre how all these posters lately make ludicrous claims that Marciano Fans are saying "he would knock out foreman", that "he is the greatest heavyweight of all time" that he's the "hardest hitter of all time"...

Seriousely..when do Marciano fans ever say these things? I never see it. Please enlighten me. I call bull****.

Yes, I'll be fair. If no one comes forward and claims that Marciano would be to strong, too hard a puncher and too determined for Foreman... then I'll admit, I'm wrong.

There isn't a fighter in history that Marciano doesn't have a chance with. This is a hyperbole if I ever seen one. Rocky will not lay over for anyone. Trust me. He was a special fighter. There are fighters I favor over him, but he would not make it easy for them.
