Foreman by early KO. It'd be something like the Frazier fight, Marciano would keep getting up and trying and eventually stopped.

Marciano's only chance would be to catch Big George with a haymaker that would put him out, but that might happen one out of 10 times.

I'm not here to offend anyone, and if that's how people see me, I'll take your advice. This will be my last post ever in this forum!

Probably, but God forbid we leave an inch of possible Heavyweight fantasy match-up territory undebated, or actually for allow some discussion of fighters in the lower weights to take any precedence on the board. So go ahead.

How about an Ali/Tyson prime for prime thread just to round things off?

That would be a bit drastic.

The forum has gone a little mad of late and order will soon be restored!

Wow, Bukkake is an ass. From "droves" to "no one"

At any rate, Foreman would be a considerable favorite because he was so destructive against aggressive fighters. No matter the class, he took most out in a few rounds. Doesn't mean Marciano doesn't have a chance, he's smart and has a great corner, they will certainly make adjustments and do everything they can to take Foreman late. Frazier wasn't prepared for George's power at all,...he was better trained for the rematch but was a physical wreck after the Ali Trilogy; still the way he slipped a very focused big George that Coswell observed was unusually sharp is cause for concern.

I'd favour a prime Foreman to TKO Rocky in 4-6 rounds. Rocky had a great will to win but when you're faced with such disadvantages as he would have, he has very little chance to win IMO.

Well, it would appear, that no one came forward in this thread and actually backed Marciano to defeat Foreman!

I believe, that if you make a mistake, you should at least be man enough to admit it... and I think it's now safe to say, that my initial statement has been proven dead wrong. I have indeed been guilty of grossly mischaracterising the many Marciano fans out there...and I would like to sincerely apologize to all the people, I may have offended. Fair enough?

    Peace.

Why would you draw that conclusion? I don't think I've seen a harder working fighter, with more heart and determination, than Marciano. A man who was always in tip-top shape (unlike many of the big boys today!) and gave 100% in the ring. How can I not admire that?
