I spoke on Facebook to a training partner of Mirs. He said Frank underestimated him and deserved the loss. Now he has to start from the bottom up.

Expect Mir to hold his hands up and say the better man won on the night. I hope he'll be back, a crushing defeat in UFC does not mean your career is over.

Frank is living proof of that every loss makes him better. Ive never seen him show any lack of class in defeat or make any excuses.

Lesnar with his WWE bull**** after the end of the Mir 2. Are you ****in' serious? There's a line and he crossed it.

Well he isnt usually on my mind so I didnt think of him. I cant stand him and I think he disgraces MMA so I make him irrelevant in my head.

Yeah Mir did look confident on his way to the ring, and even during the face off. A little too confident apparently.

Mir's an enigma... I expect he'll come back even better again. Notch up a couple of good wins, then believe his own hype again and get beat... Shame really, I like Frank (even if he is an arrogant douche sometimes) but I just don't think he's got it to have real longevity at the top.

Mir was very honest pre fight. He said win or lose he is taking the fam to Disney Land and win or lose he'll enjoy himself. Good on him. He was the more technical guy as shown by his counter hook but power is a neutraliser, just like speed kills.

Mir needs to change position MUCH faster. I think it's been his flaw his whole career. He lacks the presence of mind when hurt and he just doesn't switch it up quick enough.

Frank was his usual arrogant self and seem quite nonchalant despite getting pushed up against the cage with ease and taking multiple shots to his nogging. That said his arrogance makes no difference to his performances. Bottom line is he's way overrated and simply doesnt make the cut when compared with the best fighters in the world at his weight.

That's a good point. I think he fights best with something to prove but after a couple wins starts to believe his own hype and gets destroyed, only to repeat the cycle again. He's a total douchebag though. I've met him and he stinks of arrogance.

Why is it if a boxer gets beaten he is either an over rated ******* or a bum, while in MMA the loser is praised and given credit for his effort?
