I dunno why people are making out that Oscar won't work with Hearn when Canelo v Fielding has just been made and is essentially a co-promotion in two months time. This just helps everyone, DAZN, Hearn and Oscar all win from this as it boosts DAZN, they all get dates and they will work together on fights. More cards, bigger numbers, bigger stars. Surely the next move is to go after Loefflers lot. Where else is Golovkin gonna go now, DAZN have Canelo, Jacobs and Andrade, that's three of the six best fighters at the weight. Superflys would be an excellent addition as well.
I don't buy there will be conflict with Oscar/Hearn. They both want DAZN to a success, plenty of opportunities for different match-making. I don't think DAZN will do PPV at all, but wouldn't be surprised in a $3-$4 monthly price increase in 6 months or something.
But golden boy signing with DAZN means nothing to Warren, doesn't really affect him at all. Same way if Golden boy had signed to Showtime.
Cant stand that ultra tech. Warren will be going along the same lines though i am sure, Hearn hasnt got the deal you think... he will be pushed out from Dazn its for the fans etc etc.
Frank will say Hearn told you all its a 1 bn doller deal it isn't or if it is Golden Boy have most of that. What happened to his exclusivity, he doesnt have that either.
I've checked with the great man and he blames Hearn for this. It would be fascinating, but I'd be surprised if he has much if anything to say on the Billy Jo incident. M'learned friends are involved now and they'll be keen that Frank and anyone else involved says as little as possible pending any legal activity. I think he's going to ask us to do him yet another favour without specifying what that favour is.
