the thing with Roach's style of fightin Pac actually has a decent block Khan doesnt, so when Khan makes mistakes it ****s up bad and his chin is terrible so makes it worse

First any fighters that ever lose are "exposed".
    Now, trainers are being "exposed".
Can't wait for cut men to be exposed. Though maybe we've already had that in a TKO6 thread?
I suppose Toneys conditioning coach was exposed too.

Just how far down the list can we go?

Yes, he has. His fighters have poor defense.

Linares didn't too well with Roach.

Roach is a good trainer but past his prime and his parkinson's seems to be getting worse. Considering Khan's chin... he took Khan to world champion level so he deserves credit for that!

I think he offers **** advise in the corner when fighters really need it. ie. Amir Khan getting tagged by Garcia .. Roach didnt say ****. Amir Khan goes back to his corner decapitated he still isnt saying anything worthy.

    Exactly.

Khan was knocked silly. All Freddie kept asking was if he was ok.

Instead of giving real advice like run ,jab hold. Khan got no advice like that.

He only got to where he was because of pacquiao and he had a good chin.

When he started training other fighters like khan and others things don't go the same.

Roach shouldn't be getting that much credit for being successful with one fighter even though he did win some with khan. He's an decent trainer.

Is he still training Lucky Boy Omotoso?
Do you think he can guide him to a title @147?

Sigh, hate Roach all you want but he is definitely a more accomplished trainer than Floyd Sr. and Roger.

FYI to the thread starter, Roach is not the head of the USA olympic boxing team, he's just a consultant for awhile.

I don't hate hate Freddy it is just that it is his fault that Khan lost to Garcia. If he had been trained to survive when hurt by a punch, that coulda been prevented. I hate his training methods.

What about the Khan haters? What are you haters gonna say then if Amir comes back with a new trainer and beats Floyd Mayweather? Even RJJ admited that Amir has the ability to beat Mayweather.
