Never got to see the fight last night but for those of you who did, is he a different fighter post Froch?

    Has Froch taken his soul?

Hell yeah. Jack wouldn't last 12 seconds with the Groves of fight 1

Froch exposed the flaws in Groves. Weak chin and the stamina of an asthmatic pensioner. Jack confirmed those flaws are still there and have not been fixed.

Groves needs to sort out his stamina issues, as long as he can throw he can out box opponents but once his gas tank is empty he's there to be taken. It's fixable but it means working his ass off and improving his stamina.

Has this always been the case? Ive only seen him in the Froch fights. His stamina was fine in the second, and he gassed power punching Carl's face hundreds of times in the first

His stamina seemed fine in the second because he paced himself better but even then it's possible fatigue is what saw him back up against the ropes and get clocked by that right hand from Froch. The fight was also only in the 8th so this would have been the stage that lack of stamina would really kick in.

Looking back at his fight with DeGale he did wane down the stretch. He basically got on his bike from the 8th and was hurt in the 9th. I only gave Groves the 10th from the 8th round onwards. Luckily for Groves DeGale doesn't have the greatest work rate himself and fought in spurts.

Between the Froch fights and leaving Booth it seems that combination may have ruined his career.

No!! Groves was never champion material in the first place! Seriously, come on people. Groves is a D level fighter, and always will be

He's better than D level, a D level fighter would have never won as many rounds as he did against Jack or Froch.

But he is a deeply flawed fighter and you have to think that at this top level against world class super middles who don't fold under his power and who will take him deep into a fight that he will get found out again if he can't resolve these issues. He's fast and a good puncher but he needs more than talent at this level.
