has Froch done more with less talent than Calzaghe could have?

Ofc,his will, tenacity, and determination plus an iron chin have taken him really far.
imo if calzaghe had fought the same fighters as froch he would lost along the way.
im sure there are brits here who will not agree

Calzaghe v Ward would be a good fight. Froch got "lucky" win against Dirrell and you think Froch is better than Calzaghe? You *******ed son. Heck even Taylor was beating Froch until Taylor's gas ran out. Calzaghe always has a full tank. Easy Calazaghe win.

And I'm one of them, I'm alot more of a Froch than Calzaghe fan but Joe has a great chin and workrate. He handled Prime Kessler pretty well and a faded Kessler is Froch's best win. Also I think a prime(pre hand injury) Calzaghe could've handled Ward and Dirrel just fine.

Calzaghe would indeed be undefeated vs everyone Froch has faced. Ward would obviously be the toughest, but Calzaghe would find a way, probably by dragging him into exhaustion ala Hopkins

But in answer to the thread, Froch has done far more with his limited ability. Guy constantly tests himself against the very best, something Joe was very reluctant to do

I'm not going to do that silly, ******ed thing that newbs do where they completely rip apart a guy's resume without a hint of objectivity, but people really do overstate the level of opposition that Froch has beaten.

:D All is fine. There is a difference of opinion.Personally i see him loosing against ward and maybe dirrel(i know im gonna get a lot of heat for this, but **** it). Dirrel as mental he is is a very very underrated.

I dont know why "quote"function doesnt work.
