Now, Tyzu was a very good fighter but a tad overrated if u ask me He got wrecked by Vince Phillips His resume is not that deep GGG has a string of good wuns but none great
No wouldn't say that at the moment but if he holds the middleweight belt for 2 more years and beats Cotto, Quillin, Jacob and Lee or KO's Ward and Froch @168 he would be very close
He could if he refused to move up in weight and dare to be great by taking on elite fighters one weight class above like Zoo did. The Zoo comparison is spot on really, except Zoo had a better resume at his age than GGG currently has.
Ok fixed No wouldn't say that at the moment but if continues to be the most approved beltholder by the fans and media @middleweight for 2 more years and beats Cotto, Quillin, Jacob and Lee or KO's Ward and Froch @168 he would be very close
Middleweight starts at 154.1 and tops out at 160. As I said, Cotto is the champion, GGG is the best fighter.
I dont think a paper belt makes a fighter the champion no matter what the fans say. You have to beat the man to be the man. But like Roy Jones when Michelzweski was champion, Golovkin is far and away the best fighter in that weight class. If he accomplished what you've posted he would easily surpass Tszyu if was done in a timely manner while all those fighters were still highly relevant. After all, no one uses the old, faded version of Chavez to make Kostya seem better than he was.
