Has Golovkin stepped aside and let Cotto-Canelo fight for the WBC mw title ?

    How this situation evolved ?

    If Golovkin beats Lemieux , he will fight Cotto-Canelo winner ? They have reached to an agreement or something like that ? :think

    Lemieux and the Canelo/Cotto winner in exchange for GGG allowing them to fight for the WBC title

    K2 said that's what they were aiming for. They wanted it on contract. Not sure if they succeeded, but I know WBC Prez Sulaiman verified a week or so ago that GGG will fight winner, so perhaps they did.

    IM almost positive the BHOP is next after Lemiuex, unless the WBA asks GGG to fight Jacobs/Mora winner or Eubank Jr next.

    GBP will be getting out of their 10% PPV revenue as step aside fee for making Lemiuex GGG.

    Cotto is still on the hook for his share, but Floyd Mayweather will be paying a flat fee to GGG to be allowed to fight for his title.

    This, as a way of smacking GBP in the mouth and stealing his payday.:deal
