Delusions aren't exclusive to UK press.

90% of the articles on this very site have me laughing out loud in wonderment and confusion as to how so called 'boxing experts' can be wrong so often. Even the law of averages means you'd be right 50% of the time, but not these guys.

Anyway, the press over here don't care much for boxing. The biggest most popular daily tabloid, 'The Sun', talk about boxing maybe twice a week. Even then, it's a tiny article hidden on an obscure page sandwiched between cricket and couple's sex woe's.

They latched onto Haye because he has/had superstar quality, but he's making no waves and people got bored.

 

Because MMA\UFC is for ******s who have to be burned alive? I really believe that government should BAN ****ing MMA\UFC to stop spreading queerness in to the world.

 

the papers etc refer to him as the HW champ , thats all you need to know

All I ever read is that the negotiations break down. I've never seen or heard anyone in the UK media saying either Klit is ducking Haye.

On the contrary, I've seen a few reports of the Klits going after Haye, with no refute coming from David or his team.

 

Yes, it does all sound very innocent doesn't it? It's so diplomatic you'd think they're discussing these contracts over tea.
When you opt out of printing the reason that these contracts always seem to break down you run the risk of looking like you're covering something up. You could print the same thing about Valuev/King negotiating with Vitali and while you'd be correct that "things just didn't work out" it would be a completely meaningless statement that everyone knows is full of crap.
