Didnt realise quite how bad it was

it will be 7 rounds in 2 years by the time he next gets in the ring

I mean, he wants to be a huge nam with a big fanbase, but how can you be if youre never fighting.

He planned a layoff after his last CW fight saying he'd taken alot out of his body boiling down and wanted his body to recover and grow naturally. That was 8 months

    Then he fought Barrett

    Then

the problem for Haye is any sort of "tune up" or "stay busy" fight before the big payday/title bout is risky business because with his recklessness against a decent heavyweight he faces a chance of getting KO'd.

He lacks the self confidence to get in the ring and earn a shot the right way.

Haye lacks confidence thats a new one

He was hoping running his mouth and being crusierweight champ would open the doors to some big fights and it hasnt happend. He really needs to get in the ring fast otherwise hes going to be a nearly man at heavyweight

You seem to have a problem with British fighters as well - you say Fury has more bottle than Chisora or Haye because he is facing McDermott next! :rofl

Seriously, stfu and go back to the general :good

People can make up all the excuses they want for Haye. It doesn't make a difference if he's British, Irish, French, American, etc...In the end, he's talked a big game and hasn't delivered the goods. 1 win over a shot gatekeeper in 17 months isn't exactly saving the division.

Dunno what the fuss is all about, Haye has tried to get the big fights but because of injury and rediculous demands from the Klit camp they haven't come through yet.
You can bet if Haye does a number on Valuev (I think styles make fights and that Valuev is made for the smaller but much quicker and accurate Haye) the Klits will have to conceed a little more and the fight everyone wants to see will happen.
And IF Haye wins that then nobody will remember the little hiccup at the start.

Fury is not a British fighter? He says he fights for the British people.

I used to quite like Danny Williams, though he seems past it these days. ditto for Hatton, and I quite liked Calzaghe unitl he retired. I was a Lennox Lewis fan when you lot hated him, ever since the Olympics when he stopped Bowe, and I cheered him against every American he has ever faced.

Look, Chisora is going nowhere unless he at some point makes a quantum leap. Its hard to tell exactly what the guy is suppossed to be good at.

As for Haye, he was the man at crusier, but he has disgraced himself by talking his way into three heavyweight title figths while fighting, what, once in two years, and against a very shot fighter at that.

All I said in the other thread, and I stick by it, is that Fury has a lot more ambition at this point than those two. The Chisora example is not debatable- Chisora was offered a fury fight and won't take it.

As for Haye, well, outside of the isles, very few people take him seriously these days, and won't until he works his way up the ladder like a proper contender. And that still goes even if he beats Valuev, who was beaten by the man Wlad just destroyed.

Don't want anyone to think I got something agasinst the Brits, but lets be realistic.

    Peace.

Nobody is going to give a damn if he beats Valuev. Valuev is not a real champ, having been beaten by Chag, who was just destroyed by Klit. Perhaps he can live that down, but that Holyfield fight...

Haye needs to use Valuev as one of a series of good wins, and then, when he has proven himself at heavy, fight the real champion, Wlad.

No you are wrong, not many yanks will give a damn maybe but what yanks think about anyone in the Heavys is of absolutely no consequence.

I don't care what you say. If Haye beats Valuev in style he will gain massive props from most knowlegeable fans.

    Knowledgeable? No.

Again, Valuev just looked like garbage against Holyfield. The genral consensus is that he is just about done.

Valuev will be another decent win- it is not for a legitimate title. If Haye pull sit off and uses it as a step towards Wlad, then he gets much respect.

If he beats Valuev and starts telling people that he is the champ, then he looks like Audley after winning the WBU crown.

Valuev was a champion when the talk was of a Vitali/Valuev unification.Something seems to have changed:think
