Seen the video of the khan next opponent announcement, he looks dissatisfied to say the least. He knew he would get criticised for this fight but has gone along with it anyway.

The only way he took this fight is Haymon. He must be promising Khan the Floyd fight he craves. That fight has consumed khan thinking for 2 years now, nothing else matters.

Is khan just taking orders from Haymon to get the fight?
Does Haymon have too much influence over khan?
Will this lead to khan getting Floyd fight?

Personally don't think it is a great fight, I wanted Bradley fight, but it's a decent ticking over fight to see what happens wIth Manny floyd.

After this fight providing he win khan HAS to face one of the top welterweights.
    No more if or buts.

I definitely see a change in Khan compared to the Khan of 2010-12. Back then he was more realistic in terms of working his way up, beating the contenders and winning titles THEN fighting the big names like Floyd. Now it just seems like Khan is a business man, only picking safe options with Haymon and avoiding any sort of risk in the chance that it should back fire. I definitely think Al is having an influence, i noticed how he emphasised ''Al is VERY pleased with the fight'' in the video. Clear that Al is happy to feed him less risky fights, but the worst part is, this fight doesn't even offer any excitement in terms of build up or anticipation, its seriously effing BORING. at least khan-broner would have been an exciting build up and a bigger event, this just generates NO interest so its a dumb business move as well as a dumb career move.

after this, khan will be doing Ramadan and won't be ready to fight again until November time i think (stand to be corrected here) in which time brook could have beaten chavez and marquez for instance, Thurman could have beaten maidana, (or marquez beats brook) and before he even fights again, brook / Thurman / marquez are way ahead of khan for a mayweather / pac fight. And khans is in a no-one needs him club where he's a likely loss with no belt.

i got the impression he seemed a bit downbeat in his video announcement too.

I feel bad for him, and at the same time I don't. You want Mayweather, earn that sh*t!
The only live body he has fought since getting beat by Danny Garcia was Devon Alexander, who was coming off a loss to Porter. A non-title fight.

He should have at least fought Broner. K.O. little bro, and get big bro's attention. lol At the least, Khan Vs. Broner would garner lots of good attention.

On another note, I'm glad Algieri is getting paid. He seems like a nice guy, whether you like his skills or not.

Can you blame Al haymon if everytime he puts kahn in the ring with a live body, he folds?

He has to protect his asset, but what khan should do is if he is dissatisfied, is be a man and seek another promoter.

But he is happy to feed on feather fisted bums and fooling the public into believing that he only wants to fight the best.
