Perhaps this is me just not liking Fury or AJ.

But I couldn't give less of a **** about the fight now

 

This rematch is happening straight away cos of the clause. Fury wants to fight AJ asap. People need to stop making out this is a one way thing.

Both AJ and Fury are desperate to fight each other.

 

It wouldn't surprise me for hearn to be right with this.

Uysk normally fights once a year but he fought dubois then had an 8 month gap (should have been less) and now fury rematch in 7 months. There's no way he is fighting again for at least 6 months but fury will be looking at getting out again bar any injuries in probably early may.

That leaves dubois and his ibf belt (if he still has it) though fury says he doesn't want to give them any money but is young enough to be out fighting again early may. Or the money fight which is AJ.

The Saudis have a London stadium booking for 10th May i believe which must be Wembley though it's the week before the fa cup final so maybe I've got the date wrong and spurs are at home so it won't be there.

Fury vs AJ or dubois/parker around that date would make sense both financially and activity wise with a uysk trilogy to reopen Riyadh season on October.

 

If the fight does happen they should name it

They are all at the darts singing ‘ don’t take me home ‘, dressed as Super Mario, drinking £10pints of lager.

 

100% mate darts is the new thing it seems. Boxing and Sweet Caroline was the trend a few years ago. It’ll be something else in 5 years time.

 

Fury won't win so it's a moot point.

 

The ship sailed 3 or 4 years ago for Fury V Joshua. Both are now several years past their prime. I'd still be interested but the fight just doesn't have the same lustre anymore. Would be a retirement bout for both men.

 

AJ has done enough in his career to be above 99% of all other boxers, if AJ fights fury big deal. Don't say you won't watch it, you will, we will everyone will and that's why it will be deserving. They haven't fought , people want them to fight, it makes perfect sense for everyone.

 

They're fights that should have happened pre covid haha. If Turki and his crew came around in the 2010s, we would have seen these fights.

It is somewhat funny at the same time looking back that AJ and Wilder had multiple opportunities to fight for undisputed in 2018 but both parties botched the whole thing up and their careers have gone from bad to worse since then. All you heard was both parties blaming each other the clowns.

There’s a type of person and there’s thousands of them at the darts ( my missus is one though she’s not at the darts ) who really only go anywhere to stick photos on social media to get likes and mindless comments from mates who aren’t there like ‘ enjoy’. They love the ‘atmosphere’ but what they really love is the social media opportunities. My missus will take a photo of the meal that’s she’s having when out, post it and get the same comments ( looks lovely, enjoy ) from the same people. Makes her happy, makes me die a little, if I’m honest. I bet there’s loads of people at the Ally Pally , all the women, most of the men, who other than when they are at the venue, won’t watch another dart thrown over Christmas. They don’t really watch them thrown when they’re there. ‘ Boring, boring tables, stand up if you love the darts , don’t take me home, just the 3 chants over and over again. Look at their little faces when they see themselves on TV. Watching the Wales rugby team is the same where I live. Buy a ticket, any game, doesn’t matter who against, Social media, big screen, lose 12 games in a row, couldn’t give a sh1t. See you next year.
