    What is he thinking? :lol: He gassed and resorted to fouling against Calzaghe, what the hell is he gonna do against Pavlik? Hopkins WILL suffer his first stoppage in this fight and I see it happening quite brutally! :bbb :deal

    I think you are really underestimating how awkward B-Hop is to fight, he made Calzaghe look like an amatuer at times and he is ALOT more skilled than Pavlik.

    Pavlik might win but it will be a tough night.

    No I think Hopkins is overestimating how good he is and underestimating how good Pavlik is.

    How good is Pavlik though?

    He has good power and is very exciting to watch but he is easy to gameplan and doesn't have a plan b, you know exactly what he is going to do and his defense can be exploited.

    He made Calzaghe look anything but Supernatural, and he may do the same to Pavlik.

    I really doubt Pavlik has what it takes to stop BHOP.

    Should a boxer not take a fight just because the other guy is good? Isn't the whole point of the sport fighting the best? I don't see where or how Hopkins has lost his mind

    Its not like Hopkins is expecting to get any better than he is now, so if he's gonna take on Pavlik then nows the time.

    Really, no plan B? How's that, when have you seen him taken out of his game and have no plan B?

    The simple point is this: Hopkins cannot fight 12 rounds anymore, he couldn't even when he first fought Jermain which is why he started late. Look at him in the first round against Calzaghe, bouncing around and badly out boxing him.....then as the fight progressed he gassed out and Calzaghe started to beat him. Not beat him up, but simply do more then him. Pavlik will beat him up.
