No this is what the best fighters should do. Take on the best challenges, and most competitive fights. He should be praised for it.
No Hopkins has not lost his mind. He is doing what Joe Calzaghe refused to do; taking on the best opponent he can get. It probably means a lot to Hopkins to know that he has the balls to fight the man Calzaghe ducked.
Yeah because we all know Pavlik is a slow forward plodder with no boxing skill and footowork. :nut :nut :nut You really believe that? You also believe Hopkins will be able to potshot his way to a victory against Pavlik? I'm absolutely fine with YOU thinking I'm a moron if you also think these other things :good
Hopkins is gonna lose though. His legacy is secured. The smart move for him would've been to fight a farewell with Jones. Both of them are pretty much irrelevant at any weight class anyway now.
In a perfect world it would be Hopkins/Jones in a farewell exhibition on the undercard of Pavlik/Calzaghe.
No. I dont want you banned until at least a week after the fight, because I need a new whipping boy, Beware, these days when I whip him, merely begs to be hit harder, like Paris Hilton. After Hopkins gets beaten like a lost stepchild, YOU are going to be Jack Presscot's personal whipping boy.
I've been posting he won't use the same technique against Pavlik. Rewatch the Cal/Hop fight. Joe was jumping right into Bhops clinch. Met him half way. Hopkins may gas a lot faster againt Kelly than he did against Joe.:yep
