Has Humbero Soto been UNDERRATED his whole career? VS Morales/MAB/JMM how does he do?

Now obviously he is not on the levels of

    MAB
    MORALES
    MARQUEZ

Its a damn shame he never mixed it up with those guys at 126/130 when he was doing damage there...

While not on there levels he was maybe similar level to Mexican boxers like Margarito, Salido, Jose Luis Castillo

He lost against the talented Joan Guzman which was no shame. He gave Lucas a good fight he was touching Lucas up but was outsized at 140 and not in his prime...

How would fights have gone in his prime vs...

    MAB
    MORALES
    MARQUEZ
    SALIDO...

Soto solid resume has Ws over John Molina, Rios, Rocky Juarez, Urbano Antillon, Jesus Chavez, David Diaz

Maybe not ever Elite but a good boxer... Underrated skills

    69 career wins

    Dude started in 97! Wow

    But it never happened

He was also in discussions to fight Pac...

Humberto "la zorrita" Soto was one of the fighters I loved to watch in the mid-to- last 2000's due of his style: a skilled/crafty boxer with good combinations... I found him very entertaining. He is obviously a level below the mexican 2000's HOF MAB, Morales and Márquez, don't know what do you understand as "Elite", but IMO a guy that has won major titles in two weight classes and has successfully defended them several times should be more than just a "good boxer".

Loses to MAB, EM, and JMM. Gets murked by Pac. Beats Salido, probably by KO.

Soto was at his best below 135. I always thought he would do well against Barrera.

Soto was a vicious puncher and Salido is tough, but very easy to find. Yes, Soto knocks him out.

Stylistically I always thought he was like a mixture of Erik Morales and Fernando Vargas.

    He was lighting Lucas up

Soto was never underrated. He's always been rated highly, but just a notch or two below elite.

Always loved Soto. But I don't think he's underrated, nor overrated BTW. He's given elite fighters tough fights, but he himself always fell just short.
