Has it been brought up yet that maybe Fury is stalling because Usyk is already 36 years old?

Fury is no spring chicken himself, he's 35 this year.

 

It's been discussed shortly on some threads, but Usyk is just an year older.

Usyk now he has had a massively long amateur career but fury has ballooned up massively in weight had substance abuse issues as well so it’s dicey for him to try and wait out usyk who’s only a year older. Fury has abused his body and seems to be getting more injury prone as well.

I'd say Fury is functionally older given his size. More wear and tear, especially with his mobile style.

Usyk might have more miles on the clock technically because Fury took some years off to be a degenerate, but Fury has still been a pro since 20 years old or whatever, sparring and fighting. He's probably in decline already.
