Booth said in an interview that it was not a financial dispute, if you can believe that... Groves in turn has mentioned that he 'wasn't surprised' as if he was expecting it somehow, he likes to also let everyone know that adam sent a sms to him saying their professional relationship was over. But they both seemed very tight lipped about it, maybe it'll come out after the fight, but I'm thinking it could be something personal somehow that due to mutual respect won't be disclosed by Booth or Groves
I find it hard to think of any split or argument between trainer and boxer at this level that didn't involve money in one way or another.

it has to be an argument over money. surely. i can't see any other reason to why they'd split. and at such a major point in Groves career.
