Has Jeffrey Horn surpassed Tszyu, popularity wise in Australia? Prime vs Prime

I think its safe to say the follow up would've put him to bed for good if Nady hadn't of stopped it. I think it was a fair call, just that Judah's protest confused some that he was ok when he wasn't !

 

It was strange just to retire after finally winning a world title because thats when the money starts coming You would at least cash in be retiring

 

If Horn wants to be as popular as Tszyu in Australia, he needs to make Dud Crawford do the Zzzzzzzab Judah shuffle.

Yes. Relatively speaking it's quite safe to say that Jeffrey Horn is a bigger star than Floyd ever was.

He'd also stop Floyd in the ring.

Will horn beat anyone else ?

 

Tszyu was massive in OZ, i can't remember what stadium it was, but he packed it out with his comeback fight vs a nobody after the Phillips loss. I went to watch a couple of his PPV fights at large clubs, and people were packed in like sardines to get a look at the screen...there were less people at the same club years later to watch PAC v PBF.

He had a forum on his own site and it was getting posts/threads every minute for years. I don't think Horn is anywhere near as popular as what Tszyu or Fenech acheived.

Plenty of people at work etc that don't follow boxing don't even know who horn is. Yet mention Tszyu or Fenech they know who they are and said they even watched their fights simply because of the aura that they had just in television interviews during the sports section while watching the news.

People that were barely sports fans let alone Boxing fans followed Tszyus career in Aus, Horn barely rates a mention here unless you at least casually follow boxing.

Horn has no talent at all...................he is a total fraud, Pac was badly cheated by Marsa Bob Arum!

 

Mundine was the reason for him unretiring twice. He wouldn't get near the money for a title defence. He probably wouldn't of kept the belt long anyway.

 

Horn is not worthy of carrying Tszyu's jock strap!

 

horn was EVERYWHERE on the news and tv shows following his win over pacman. a lot of non-boxing fans know who he is now, but not one of them knew who he was previously
and his bout against Corcoran and future bout against Crawford have been making mainstream news too
