Has Joke Calslappy's opponents been nobodies? Or does he just make them look like ..

Supposed to be, but wasn't - as has been proved since. I suspect we'll see Kessler go the same way too.

Bottom line is if the guy was as great as his fans claim he is, he wouldn't have ducked Jones all those years when Jones was still at his best. The FACT that Joe ducked Glen Johnson tells you all you need to know about the guy.

It doesn't remove my points that Taylor looked bad in years.

No he did not. Calzaghe won 9-3, and it is hard to look great, when Hopkins don't want to fight.

If you con yourself that Taylor is able to beat Calzaghe, then you are dreaming. It is a stylistic nightmare for Taylor.

that means nothing in the world of boxing.

but this is the very reason why people get 'fooled' by fighters.

'they have a belt so they must be elite fighters'.

the positive thing about a good boxing board is it can open the eyes of people who think that 'beating a world champion' (gatti's 'beaten' 8 if i remember right)or holding a belt makes you an elite of the sport.

it just isn't true always in boxing.

Taking into account the recognition he's getting lately with us pundits and has done for years in the uk, his competition has been very weak. Lots of never were's and a few has-beens.
I don't think he's "a bum", I don't think he's got no power, I don't call him "cal-slappy" or any other silly names but I don't respect him as a boxer because he never persued challenges. He should have dumped the wbo years ago (or not gone for it in the first place) and taken the short money overseas to get the best opponents.

Chris Eubank, although past his prime, was an excellent win.

Bernard Hopkins was a notable win also.

    Mikkel Kessler also.

The rest of Calzaghe's win are average or mediocre.

suppose to be?? there is no suppose to be..he either was OR wasnt and he wasnt.. he had done nothing on KP level before figting Cal...he was just young and undefeated..with a title...KP cleaned out the middle weight division, with the exception of AA..who has decided to fight Marquez (which ius fine by me, his mando)..

Jeff had NO jab..and arguably lost to Omar freakin Shieka....:hi:
