I’m noticing a lot of people comparing the build up to Joshua vs wilder to mayweather vs pacquaio but I have 1 question for everyone.

Has Joshua even earned the right to let it build up in such a manner?

Before Floyd and pacman was a thing both guys were easily Hall of fame bound with massive wins over

Castillo x2, corrals, zab, baldomir, Hatton, DLH/JMM x2, Morales x2, MAB x2, David Diaz, etc

The reality is neither Joshua or wilder have earned the right to behave with such diva tendencies. People can trophy Joshua’s win over Wlad or his “unified” status all they want but the facts are Wlad was 2 years removed from a loss vs fury and a few months before that removed from looking like absolute dog **** in a win vs bryant Jennings. Although Joshua is factually the current unified champ, he’s fought nothing but vacant belt holders.

The true champion belt holders of the division are

Fury - IBF, IBO, WBO, WBA
    Wilder - WBC

This isn’t to belittle Joshua’s accomplsihments because he’s absolutely accomplished but in reality he’s not so accomplished that he can just tell his best opponent and number 1/2 guy in the division to **** off so he can fight the welterweight equivliwnt of Robert guerro or LHW equivalent of Jean pascal.

so I say all that to ask... in your opinion has Joshua (hearn) earned the right to “let it marinate” I’m sure you know my answer.

No. But what makes you think they are letting it marinate? Wilder wouldnt sign the contract and so Joshua is facing his mandator while the offer and the contract for Wilder to be the very next fight after that is sat on Deontays lap.

Both fighters could do with more promotion in America, in the UK it doesnt really matter as Joshua is such a massive star already that more or less the only people who havnt jumped on board dont like Boxing. Raising Wilders profile in the UK will add marginal numbers at best.

And Joshua isnt telling the number 2 guy in the division to **** off. Hes fighting him in September. Povetkin is better than Wilder. Even this old one.

I would say that he has. Compare him with Wilder.

He has amassed three times as many of the recognised belts in the division in half of the fights, four if you include the IBO but I won’t go there lol. I can see where you are coming from re his unification with Klitschko, but he unified the WBO vs Parker and is now about to face Povetkin. 3 of his most recent 4 fights have been Klitschko, Parker, Povetkin, I think collectively that gives him a platform that Wilder cannot compete with.

I’m no Joshua fanboy mate. I think he is ducking Wilder and it is frustrating, but when compared to Wilder he does have the right.

How can you say Povetkin is better than wilder when he’s been cheating damn near his whole career?!? That’s like Bolt being caught for PEDS how good is he really we don’t know!! And never will

There's Three "Champions" at heavyweight. All Three must Collide to determine who is the true Champion. Simple as that.

No he is a belt holder, not a champion.

Champions don't let fight's marinate and say they're not ''ready'' and only ''feel safe'' when fighting on home soil.

Even Lewis stopped defending Joshua and more or less called him a fake champion.

Lennox Lewis on Joshua ''changing his tune''

''My thoughts on @anthonyfjoshua and @Bronzebomber situation are that when i was champ, I wanted to face the best to show the world who’s the best. Period. I’ve heard them both speak on it but I’ve also seen that AJ has changed his tune. This isn’t a 2yr down the line thing," stated former unified heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, who shared his thoughts on the failed negotiations for a potential heavyweight unification between champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.''

Lewis Shocked Joshua doesn't want to fight in America.

Firstly, no-one in the last 100m final hasn't taken PEDs. It's just statistics.

Secondly, the current HW division is making Wlad's reign look good. Joshua and Wilder - dildos at 10 metres. Fat Fury with his psychological and eating disorders.

Parker was given no chance by the ref against Joshua. Fat boy Ortiz was held back against Wilder. You know it's about the money and that's all you need to know. Nothing will get in the way of the big money cashing in on their sows.
