True boxing fans have seen but most rarely notice, you can have a fighter who's weight drained going to a class that he shouldn't be fighting at and getting dropped alot, once his moves up in weight and isn't so drained, his punch resistance is better. Juanma Lopez is a solid fighter, he's never been great (poor defense, slow for the small weight classes), but this guy has CLEARLY been weight drained for the last 7/8 fights. He was suppose to move up in weight in 2009, but kept getting called back down to 126, because their are no big name fights at 130 currently. Do you think his weight drained and if so can you see it affecting his energy level?
