It was a good win for Amir, but let's be a little honest here, what we witnessed was not a legacy-defining fight. I'd say a few more wins against quality opponents and he would definitely deserve a slot.
In your dreams. Seriously, everyone knows Judah is all over the place and we never know which version will turn up. And last night he sucked. Khan did well and it is not his fault that Judah sucked ... and of course Khan capitalized nicely on the version of Judah. Khan will have bigger and better fights and there will be plenty of opportunity to show his skills. Judah was chosen carefully because he was a fairly easy opponent with a bit of a name. Well picked by the match makers. Next fight should continue the progression towards better and better opponents. Until now we have moved from utterly useless, to useless, to ok but very featherfisted... now we have tried to get a bit of skill and power, but frm a guy everyone knows spends more time hanging out with his posse than actually training. Next step should be an opponent with skill and power... not just as remnants but current skill and power.
He deserves to be, there is absolutely no way anybody can justify having Bradley ahead of him. But the Ring lists are very biased towards US fighters so I don't expect him to make the top ten yet.
Khan has just cracked the top 15 in my p4p rankings. He's only 24 years old and no doubt's in my mind he will be top 5 in 18 months.
How much would you like to wager that he doesn't make top 5 with any major boxing publication within 18 months?
In 18 months time i expect Vitali,Mayweather,Pacman,Martinez,Hopkins will all have retired. Pretty much leaving alot of the top spots in the p4p rankings for the taking. I bet you my word. :good
