Has Kovalev ever given an interview about Simikov?

Yeah, after Michael Watson Chris Eubank was afraid to go for the finish in his fights, Barry McGuigan was never the same again either, it's a big trauma for a fighter to take another fighters life, this is a sport after all and these men have massive respect for eachother

 

I read an interview in Russian where he said that he really didn't feel like continuing with boxing after that fight and that this is something that he prefers not to talk about in interviews.

 

It did not seem as if he took heavy punishment against Kovalev. It seemed as if something may have been wrong with Simakov before the fight
