    Indeed but he's given him a tough fight also, basically he's the kind of guy who isn't elite but he's got the spoiler style to be a hard night even for elite level guys and can score an upset or two as well. But he also might get beat by non-elite guys.

    I thought Chilemba would be a hard night for Stevenson as well before the Kovalev fight was even announced and wanted to see that fight.

    So you preparing your excuse, trying to get a consensus that Kovalev is past prime right before he gets beat by Ward. How about Shoulder injury and bad socks that one always works

    This entire comment was pointless due to the fact that I've already stated numerous times that I enjoy the fighters and style of guys like Ward, Toney, Ottke, Whitaker, Spadafora, Pep, Wright, etc.

    Nice attempt though.

    there was no "attempt" at anything...I never said you couldn't like both fighters

    just realize that this thread was made because of ward...and the fear many have that ward would dominate lowercase golovkin

    The Shockmaster, if I want to made a thread because of Ward I will do it . This thread is about fooking Kovalev, and has nothing to do with Ward. By the way, I am very fond of Ward. Should I repeat ? Yes, I am very fond of Ward ! Yes, I am European and like Ward. If you can not understand this fact - it is your's problem, not mine.

    Kovalev looked tired after the 5th round. But it wasn't from anything Chilemba was doing. Maybe he did have a cold. Anyway he won every round, scored a kd in the 7th and hurt Chilemba a few times after that. All this talk is just that. Ward fans clutching at straws and Kovalev fans overrating Kovalev after smashing the overrated 50 year old Hopkins.

    Nothing to see here.
