You think he would've learned after Corley, but then again before the first bell rang most of us were in agreement that Morales' was the softest of touches and cannon fodder for Maidana.

Would've loved to have seen him earn a draw or even the verdict. A peoples champion no doubt :deal

I question Maidana's preparation for this fight, he was starting to gas after the 2nd round, not taking anything away from Erik but Maidana looked gased though out the fight.

    Mathysse would beat Maidana IMO.

It hasn't changed my view of next week because that's a different fight but i think it takes little bit more gloss of the win for Khan.

Maidana's came on strong late on so i wouldn't say his prep was the main thing. I think Morales stepped to him and forced him onto back foot made him look poor. He cannot fight off back foot we all know that.

Maidana fought badly last night and fought well against Khan.I think he was suprised at how much Morales seemed to have left.I dont think it proves anything with regards to Khan`s next fight.

Maidana came on strong in the last 2 rounds, which I think he got his second wind, I think Erik shocked him in having that much left.

In this fight Maidana looked like the Maidana vs Corley under prepared.

Agreed with Jim Watt's scorecard for a draw but would not have argued with a narrow win for either men. Thought 116-112 was way too wide. Loved it when Morales waved him in. What a legend.

Never rated Maidana before and dont rate him now.He has power and nothing else and even that is overrated.
When Khan beat him he was extremely overrated as it made Khan look better but hes pretty awful.
I had Morales just nicking it which is embarrassing seeing as hes old, shot and fighting at a weight where he has no business at.

Morales looked better than his actual performance as we expected him get blown out. His timing, accuracy and legs are great even after so many wars.

I think his legs will fall apart when he fights someone a little less.....plodding.

Khan made the error of pulling away from maidana`s attack and getting caught on the backfoot alot, Morales kept up close more and by doing so took the power out of Maidana`s punches.
I forever keep saying that if i were Roach i`d sit Khan down and make him watch Watson vs Benn because thats the way you defend and strike back.

One plan of McCloskeys will be to evade Khans attack by sidestepping and pivoting planning to catch khan thats if hes quick enough to do so. We`ll see

Difference being that it wasn't the end of the World if Watson got clipped.

Staying well out of range and pot shotting is Khans best bet. Not against Dimitri McCloskey though.

the thing is though khan did get clipped quite a few times early on and was okay, it was that massive wild swing from the outside that ****ed him, i said it a while back that when khan was firing off Maidana didnt do anything, i think if khan knew how to block an uppercut he could of flurried, and nullified maidana completley
