I used to ****ing hate the guy. He just struck me as a mouthy little *****. It wasn't until after I saw both the Cotto and Hatton fights though that I saw just what kind of balls the guy packs around and he finally won me over after the Diaz fight when he spoke his mind and the truth while being respectful to Diaz. I think now that most of the **** that made me think he was a ***** come down to him just having fun...
Eh he's ok in my book. I think that his mouth is faster than his brain sometimes since he says pretty idiotic **** but that is not exactly anything new in the sport of boxing isn't it?
I've never disliked him so I've always respected him. Those who dislike Malignaggi are immature fans who just point at his guido tendencies and laugh.. but I've aways respected his talent inside the ring which is what really counts in this sport. I'm not really a fan of the guy by the way, his style doesn't suit me, I just think he's a prety good fighter.
Big Fan of Paulie....A guy that is feather-fisted as he is doesn't go very far in the sport of boxing....he has done quite well for himself...that is testament to the skills he has....if he did have power he would be p4p material.... When people put their personal opinions aside, he is a very talented fighter...
I like him very much and i always asking me the same question i see him fight! And this is: Why didnt God gave him knockout power in his right hand? And YES i saw a few improvments in the diaz rematch!
I like him. He runs his mouth and can be annoying, but he is always respectful of opponents, and he has taken himself as far as he can go, not having power of any sort. The whole steroids and Pacquiao accusations were annoying. But I realize that the majority of boxers are really no educated at all in regards to fitness and human performance. I'll give everyone a pass on that one.
I like the fact that he's also a boxing fan himself. I remmeber in an interview prior to the Ngoudjo fight(which was in early january 080 he was asked how dod he spend his night between the years and he said he didn't do anything but watch fight tapes.
Paulie is a lot tougher than folks give him credit for and I like watching him fight because of his style. He's very quick with his hands, fast on his feet and actually reminds me of a throwback type guy who lacks power but makes up for it by using his finese and boxing skills. Keep doin' your thing, Magic Man.
