Well its probably gone down, but itd only take one sparkling performance and it would be right back up again...
Plummeted he lost and ran I thought he was a good B Class fighter after his Ndou win who had a shot at Witter and Hatton Witter and Hatton walk threw within 6 rounds
Definitely down but that's why you don't take over half the year off. No active fighter should fight less than 3-4 matches a year especially while in their prime. Anything less is a joke compared with the legendary fighters of old.
dont be a dick mate, the very elite of the sport have about 3 a year, and thats quite good considering the contract negotiations that must occur, the marketing of the event and the sheer depth of the preparation that top level athletes have today. malignaggis stock has gone down quite a bit,he was in trouble on more than a few occasions last night, and did not 'box' his way out of the situation, coupled with the fact that the majority of people feel he lost he has definatly taken a beating.
Thought he looked fleshy. He could make lightweight quite easily in my opinion and he probably should, considering his lack of power. I was disappointed with him. He looked leaden footed and wasn't as elusive as I was expecting him to be. He's a decent fighter with alot of heart. That's about it.
That's because he's not a serious world champion. He won his title by beating a glorified sparring partner who had received the belt without actually beating anyone. Although I scored the fight for him, Paulie showed the same flaws that he shows in all of his fights. Offensively, he's an ABC, 123 fighter. All he does is jab, and occasionaly throws a straight right(although he did throw some nice uppercuts and left hooks against Ngoudjo). His defense was once again suspect, and his power is still non existent. This isn't something new, this has always been the case with Paulie.
Indeed. However, there were a number of people on here and elsewhere that were/are hyping up Paulie far to much. As if he was a serious champion. :good
I say down too. BTW, what the hell was the venue?? It looked like a sold out house with a capacity crowd of about 150- 200 people. LOL!
Yeah I noticed that too. I don't think I have ever seen a place so small for a boxing match in recent times. I don't think there were 1000 people. I guess that shows what type of drawing power these fighters have LOL!
